SAT Training was Made for Zoom

Standardized test training was made for Zoom sessions.

Via the private chat, every student can individually participate without interfering with any other student’s thought process. Accordingly, in real-time, Cho can validly assess each student throughout the entirety of every session. It is almost like he is standing behind each student, able to look down at her or his paper.

  • Who is answering too quickly

  • Who is falling for the trap answer

  • How smoothly is an idea taking hold

  • How deeply does a student understand a concept

  • Who is stubbornly spending unwarranted time on a question

Everything above and more can be gauged in every voliSAT session. In-person classes simply cannot achieve this level of evaluation and assessment.

_______________________

Within our Zoom sessions, students can learn in the ways that are most effective for them. Many of us are shy or do not relish raising our hands in person. Some questions can seem silly. These issues do not exist within voliSAT sessions. A question can be posed via the private chat at any time and Cho can respond appropriately, sometimes bringing the question to the group and other times, replying privately.

Some students want to answer every question. In our sessions, they can do so! Alternatively, when a student does not have an answer to particular questions, Cho will assure them that this is not strange. With time and experience, the answers will come.

Within voliSAT sessions, the student experience becomes one that feels custom-built for each student, despite the many wonderful differences we have in what makes us comfortable. There is only one exception: it is important for students to be on camera. To fully gauge how a student is absorbing and reacting to things, we have to see them. Plus, it’s no fun talking to a blank screen.

We are so excited to see you!👨🏻‍💻

1. Given that the SAT® is digital, every student wants an online study partner like voliSAT. We want to experience questions in practice the way we do on test day.

2. An in-person tutor can be great, but by itself, cannot effectively capture some of the inherent challenges of taking a test on a computer while in a room full of people. Our group Zoom sessions bring test day conditions to life, allowing students to acclimate to various test day issues.
