In many cases, when we type an equation in to desmos, we can directly click upon x-intercepts that are the solutions we are looking for. In many cases, because of the nature of the equation we are given, we are not able to do so, so we likely move and zoom in to confirm what we are seeing.
We certainly get why $\nicefrac{3}{2}$ or 1.5 gets input as the answer. If you did type such an answer in, maybe do not just brush this misfire aside. There is a nitpickiness that is very much within the fabric of this test.
